The ancient seabeds of shallow, warm waters have turned into the very ground we walk on today. Limestone landscapes, formed mainly through the accumulation of marine organisms millions of years ago, are slowly eroding, revealing the solidified history of what once was. From the coastal chalk cliffs of Northern France and England to the karst caves of the Belgian Ardennes, this project explores the relationship between time, place, and material.
